Compute instances and scheduled work
Inspect the resource that runs a workload and the schedule that triggers it. Keep capacity, execution status and recurring authorization separate.
Updated
Reviewed against Console v0.2.2. Available actions depend on project access and runtime configuration; check your installed CLI version for command differences.
Identify the resource
| Resource | What to inspect |
|---|---|
| GPU instance | Provider, region, instance ID, readiness and ongoing cost |
| Scheduled chat | Prompt, cadence, timezone, enabled state and run history |
| Agent deployment | Bound instance, image revision, dispatches and worker readiness |
Start with GPU offers for capacity or the command catalogue below for deployed agent workers.
Define a bounded schedule
A scheduled chat combines a prompt, cadence, timezone and chat context. Where scheduling is enabled, review the saved schedule and its next run time. A schedule being enabled does not prove the executor is healthy or that its last run succeeded.
Make each run auditable
- Specify the project and evidence window.
- Bound the work, cost and permitted changes.
- Record the run ID and completion state.
- Report missing evidence and failures.
- Require a separate decision before moving a production prompt label.
Start with a read-only recurring task
Every Monday at 09:00 Europe/London, summarize the previous seven days of this project’s AI usage and failures. Link the evidence and flag missing data. Do not start training, modify prompts or deploy changes.Once the reporting behavior is reliable, define any evaluation step and its budget explicitly. See Evaluation.
Verify the saved schedule and first run
Describe the cadence and timezone in the Console chat, review the proposed operation, and inspect the resulting schedule. Check its first completed run. Pause or remove a schedule when it is no longer needed, and separately release any capacity it used.
Command catalogue
Expand a command for its arguments. These commands follow the released CLI source; check stimulir --version and the command’s --help for your installation. Required flags are marked; some operations also validate combinations of inputs.
stimulir compute agents bootstrap clear
Remove the application bootstrap so test sessions are refused.
--instancerequired- See the installed command’s --help for accepted values.
stimulir compute agents bootstrap set
Configure where Console sends signed test-session requests for an instance.
--instancerequired- See the installed command’s --help for accepted values.
--urlrequired- HTTPS endpoint the application exposes for signed test-session requests.
--secretrequired- Project agent secret ID shared with the application; never a value.
stimulir compute agents bootstrap show
Show the configured URL and secret reference; the secret value is never returned.
--instancerequired- See the installed command’s --help for accepted values.
stimulir compute agents delete
Permanently retire a deployment, drain workers, and retain history.
--instancerequired- See the installed command’s --help for accepted values.
stimulir compute agents deploy
Register a digest-pinned image manifest and bind it to an instance.
manifestrequired- Positional argument. See the installed command’s --help for accepted values.
--namerequired- See the installed command’s --help for accepted values.
--versionrequired- See the installed command’s --help for accepted values.

stimulir compute agents dispatch
Start a worker in an existing room; inspect status for readiness.
--instancerequired- See the installed command’s --help for accepted values.
--roomrequired- See the installed command’s --help for accepted values.
--keyrequired- Stable key for this room attachment.
stimulir compute agents list
List deployment availability and worker counts.

--instancerequired- See the installed command’s --help for accepted values.
stimulir compute agents suspend
Prevent new dispatches and drain workers.
--instancerequired- See the installed command’s --help for accepted values.
stimulir compute agents test-session
Ask the instance's configured application for a signed test session link.
