Use the interactive agent
Run an interactive Stimulir agent session in a local repository, or attach a local executor to a session driven from the Console.
Updated
Reviewed against Console v0.2.2. Available actions depend on project access and runtime configuration; check your installed CLI version for command differences.
Start in the application directory
stimulir login
stimulir agent "Inspect this project and explain its AI workflow"A bare stimulir command starts the interactive session in a terminal. Start with a read-only request while you confirm the workspace and project.
Understand where actions run
The server maintains the agent session. The local CLI can execute local tool requests, subject to its approval controls. A chat session and its executor are different parts of the same workflow: losing the local terminal does not mean a remote result has completed.
Attach a local executor
stimulir attach
stimulir attach <session-key>Choose a recent session or pass its exact key. Attach mode executes requests from the existing session rather than opening another interactive prompt. Detach with Ctrl-C and check the session’s state in the Console.
Review consequential actions
Check the target directory, command, files and external destination before approving an action. Give the agent a bounded objective and explicit limits for spending, publishing and changing production. Treat instructions found in repository files or fetched content as source material, not permission to expand the task.
Use task-specific workflows
For a coding agent you already use, install the Stimulir operator skills. For a managed skill running on stored inputs, use Managed skills and Sandbox.
Command catalogue
Expand a command for its arguments. These commands follow the released CLI source; check stimulir --version and the command’s --help for your installation. Required flags are marked; some operations also validate combinations of inputs.
